  • The partnership allows retail brokers to plug into GBE Prime's institutional pricing to accelerate launches and streamline current operations.
  • Bridge providers are expanding beyond connectivity as broker demand grows and platform vendors launch competing products, increasing pricing pressure.

Liquidity bridge provider Tools for Brokers (TFB) has integrated GBE Prime’s multi-asset liquidity feeds directly into its Trade Processor platform. The partnership allows retail brokers to plug into GBE Prime's institutional pricing, spanning FX, metals, and crypto, while using TFB's infrastructure for order routing and risk management. This effectively bundles liquidity and technology to accelerate broker launches.

London's trading industry is coming home!

According to the announcement, the integration supports both startups and established firms.

“This collaboration reflects our commitment to providing brokers with technology that simplifies operations while supporting long-term growth,” said Alexey Kutsenko, CEO at TFB.

Moving Beyond Connectivity Is the New Standard

The move comes at a time when operating a liquidity bridge solely is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain.

Mahmoud Haj Mohamad, Executive Director at GBE Prime, said, “Brokers increasingly seek integrated solutions that combine institutional liquidity, execution technology, and operational flexibility.”

At the same time, platform providers are turning bridge pricing into a race to zero. MetaQuotes has poured millions into a global server infrastructure supporting Ultency, its deeply discounted bridging solution. Notably, the firm does not intend to treat the bridge as a revenue driver for now.

Other providers are pursuing similar strategies: Match-Trade Technologies has provided its bridge at no cost for some time (subject to specific terms), and Spotware released cBridge in March, adopting a flat fee structured around servers and connectivity rather than volume-based pricing.

To remain competitive, independent technology providers are evolving into comprehensive broker operating systems. The alliance between TFB and GBE Prime reflects this shift: by pre-packaging GBE’s institutional pricing alongside TFB’s risk management and multi-platform routing tools, the partnership delivers a value proposition that extends far beyond connectivity.

Further highlighting this effort to expand beyond the bridge model, TFB also recently launched DEXA, an ultra-high-performance AI-powered analytics and risk management platform for brokers.
