The North American Derivatives Exchange (Nadex), the only regulated retail online binary options exchange in the United States, today announced the release of Nadex Pro, an advanced PC desktop trading platform.
The new Nadex Pro system, as a PC desktop platform, is a departure from the norm in the binary options world as most brokers focus on web browser-based online trading and mobile apps trading, and not not on PC trading as is standard in the forex trading industry. The standard Nadex trader is browser-based and the broker only launched an iPad app last month to complete its mobile trading apps offering.

The exchange states that the new system was designed to meet the specific demands for a user-friendly and fast trading application. “Active traders demand tools that provide fast, easy access to our exchange whether connecting through a browser, mobile device, or now through a desktop-based channel,” said Timothy McDermott, CEO, Nadex. “Meeting that demand and further enhancing the Nadex trader’s experience, Nadex Pro provides a professional level, customized experience to trade Nadex binary options and bull spreads.”
The broker explained that Nadex Pro offers traders a single window view of all quotes, charts and order tickets, which can be customized to see the data and functions most relevant to each trader. Users can also monitor key markets with watch lists and visualize data in a new graphical interface. The company seems to have determined that the binary options industry’s norm of browser-based trading will not fit the type of active trader who will require such features and therefore added the new desktop system.
Additional Features of Nadex Pro Include:
- Quick Trader window provides easy access to trading, charting and real-time data in one view
- Advanced order entry window allows traders to view and work orders in relation to the order book
- Screener window lets traders easily spot trade opportunities as markets get close to expiration
- Flexible screen layout lets traders float order entry, charts or quote windows
