Tradimo just announced that the company onboarded new top talent to its team. The trading education-focused Startup is welcoming Timur Coban as the company’s new Head of Sales.

Coban is one of the founders of German investment bank Varengold, where he spent over 20 years. At the time he left the firm he was responsible for Institutional Sales at the firm’s capital markets brokerage unit.

Coban joins Tradimo as the company’s new Head of Sales. He will be responsible for customer acquisition, institutional development, and customer training and education.

His vast capital markets experience and elaborate career in the financial industry have been the main reasons for Tradimo to expand its sales team. After leaving Varnegold after 20 years, Coban joined start-up company NAGA Group AG and accompanied the firm to its IPO in 2017.

New Funding Round at Tradimo

Commenting exclusively to Finance Magnates, the founder and CEO of Tradimo, Sebastian J. Kuhnert said that the company is preparing to raise additional funding. The firm is preparing to add more people to its team in the near future.

“Timur Coban is one of the most authentic, integer and competent sales executives I've had the pleasure of knowing and working with,” said Kuhnert.

“He has deep experience in trading himself, so he can walk the talk and add direct value for our users, and that's why I'm very excited to have him join us and let his drive and energy allow more partners and users benefit from our products and services,” Tradimo’s CEO elaborated.

His responsibilities at Varengold Bank and The NAGA Group were to set up and manage sales in the private and institutional sectors.

Coban has always been involved with the financial markets and their mechanisms, which are not always easy to grasp, and has always set himself the goal of giving clients the expertise they need to succeed in stock market trading.

Elaborating on his new role, the new Head of Sales at Tradimo Interactive commented that he sees an increasing interest from people to understand and learn how they can make money in the financial markets.

“With my over two decades of experience in capital markets and together with Tradimo, we will help more people get into the complex and adventurous world of finance. The company has the best tools to make this happen,” Coban elaborated.

Back in October, Tradimo announced the release of a brand new product. The company launched its Deutsche Borse nano diploma program for derivatives trading.
