Foreign exchange has been the best performing asset class in the last decade in terms of volume growth. The most recent BIS survey stands at around $4 trillion in daily volume. With liquidity, volatility and round the clock trading; currencies have attracted more risk averse traders and thus long term growth is eminent.

The yen and euro appreciated 1.39% and 0.50%, respectively, versus the US dollar. For the quarter, the Swiss franc gained 9.64%, the euro rose 1.89% and the yen increased 3.55% versus the dollar.
