Chicago-based Dorman Trading LLC, a long-standing Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with membership on multiple exchanges and across nearly 30 trading platforms, today announced a newly launched website redesigned by an industry focused marketing firm Gate 39 Media, according to an official press release.

Commenting in the press release, Daniel Dorman, VP at Dorman Trading LLC, said: “Our mission is to provide traders and futures brokers with the clearing, connectivity, service, and technology solutions to succeed. ”

“The new Dorman Trading website highlights all of the tools, services, and technology we provide to achieve this mission,” he added.

As a clearing member of the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX, Eurex, and ICE, the company is able to provide a large array of trading platforms, as well as co-location and Hosting services into CME’s data center, matching engine access, and exchange connectivity options, according to the update.

The company is a family owned business that provides futures Execution and clearing services to introducing brokers and traders – it has been in operation for over 50 years. I once visited the company's office in Chicago's iconic CBOT building, where photos from the CBOT trading floor from many decades ago decorate one of the company's conference rooms.

As a firm that has stayed in business this long, the new effort seems like a further step in the right direction to stay up to speed in terms of its online appearance. The update to the new website updates the prior static version with a revamped, dynamic look with a scrolling element and html-5 like design.

From a sales perspective, and thanks to efforts from Gate 39 Media, the marketing firm that helped make the new site, there are dedicated landing pages or forms for IBs and various types of traders to sign up, among other new design elements and website functionality. The company looks to acquire new clients through the new site.

“Beyond a basic design refresh, we worked with the team at Dorman Trading to strategically define their place in the FCM space and highlight how they best serve their clients,” said Shane Stiles, President of Gate 39 Media, commenting in the press release.

Mr. Stiles added: “We combined custom web design and functional elements with SEO-optimized messaging that is underscored by the Dorman family’s trusted expertise and rich history in the derivatives space.”
