Skilling has become the latest to join the herd of brokerages sponsoring sports clubs with its latest deal with English football club, Aston Villa.

According to the press release shared with Finance Magnates, the foreign exchange (Forex ) and contract for difference (CFD) brokerage has become an official club partner for the 2020/21 season, and it can promote itself on the club’s official stadium Villa Park LEDs and big screen on matchdays.

In addition to that, the brokerage will also have access to the club’s digital and social channels for promotion.

“Aston Villa’s history as European and English Champions marks the club out as one of the most prestigious in British football, so agreeing this partnership is a moment of real significance for Skilling,” Skilling CCO, Pavel Spirin said on the partnership.

“Both ourselves and Villa are on an exciting upwards trajectory, and with a shared ambition to bring accessibility to users and fans alike, this partnership couldn’t be more timely, and we share a great deal of excitement as to what the upcoming season has in store for us both.”

Race to Become a Dominant European Broker

Skilling was founded in 2016 and launched its proprietary Trading Platform in 2018. The broker is actively expanding its operations across Europe as Finance Magnates earlier exclusively reported on the establishment of its London office.

The brokerage also received a regulatory license this year from the Seychelles regulator.

“We are delighted to announce Skilling as a global partner of the club. Skilling is [a] young and exciting brand that matches our own ambitions. We look forward to welcoming them to the Villa family for our upcoming campaign,” Nicola Ibbetson, chief commercial officer at Aston Villa, added.
