Interesting news coming out of Cyprus today as Alpari’s main shareholder Andrey Dashin is now launching a new, separate brand, called ForexTime. The firm was just awarded CySEC’s license and will now go into the activation period before being able to accept clients. This is also the reason why ForexTime’s website is not open to the audience yet. Interesting to note is that as early as March 2012 Alpari Nigeria has been rebranded (or perhaps sold) into ForexTime which perhaps precipitated the current move.
Alpari endured quite a few changes lately with the company restructuring its global operations gradually consolidating business units under the UK company. Management changes also ensued with founder and UK CEO Andrey Vedikhin taking a step back to focus on group’s strategy and US CEO Daniel Skowronski taking over the UK CEO role.
Alpari RU just shared its financial results which seem impressive considering the 2012 forex market stagnation.
With Andrey Dashin launching a separate brand it’s clear that the main shareholder is interested in pursuing a different direction than the Alpari brand. We’ll bring you the exclusive interview shortly.
New Forex broker ForexTime Ltd (FXTM) has been awarded a CIF license by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and will soon launch its operations. Upon activation of the CIF License, the company will be officially open for business early in 2013, offering trading and other investment services in Forex, commodities, precious metals, shares, indices and other financial instruments. There will be further announcements to come when the website is launched and once the company is ready to take on clients and there will be announcements made each time a new product is released.
The company has been established by Mr Andrey Dashin, founder of the Alpari brand. With more than 14 years’ experience in international finance, this new venture solidifies Mr Dashin’s reputation as a business leader in the international finance industry, and stems from his ambition to be instrumental in setting new high standards for Forex trading in the ever-changing global marketplace.
Mr Dashin said: “It is my ambition for ForexTime to be a game-changer. I know that ForexTime is going to change the industry for the better as my team and I possess the combined experience and commitment needed to elevate the industry to another level”.
“With the current global crisis having created a unique set of conditions in the Forex market, ForexTime represents an adaptation to an evolving market by fulfilling investors’ and traders’ new demands and expectations”.
“We are already developing products and services that are ground breaking and will result in a better trading experience and faster execution for traders”.
