ADSS, a large brokerage firm in Europe and the Middle East, announced on Monday that Louis Delétraz, the Swiss racing driver which the firm sponsors, will have his debut in a Formula One car.

Formula one is the highest class of single-seater auto racing. Delétraz currently races in Formula two, but following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix testing session, on November 28, 2018, he will test the current-spec Haas VF-18.

This will take place on the second day of the three-day session, which will be run by Pirelli, a tire supplier. In his racing career, Delétraz has been a winner Formula Renault 2.0's Northern European Cup and has also been a runner-up in the two-liter Eurocup series and the Renault 3.5 liter series.

Commenting on the opportunity, Delétraz said: “I’m naturally very excited to make my Formula One debut testing in Abu Dhabi and I am grateful to both Gene Haas and Guenther Steiner for giving me the opportunity to test with Haas F1 Team.”

ADSS has already been sponsoring Delétraz for a number of years, originally teaming up with him when he was still karting, up until now as an F2 driver on the Charouz Racing System team. Already he has shown a lot of promise in the industry and is looking to finish up the year at the Yas Marina circuit, in Abu Dhabi on solid footing.

We are confident that he will eventually be racing in this premier formula.”
