Born2trade Rolls Out Prediction Markets on Match-Trader Platform

  • The CFD broker's new module lets traders access event-driven contracts and its existing CFD lineup through one login and account balance.
  • The rollout lands after the first-half-2026 target Born2trade set in May, when it bought the domain Predictory.com for the same push.

Born2trade added Prediction Markets to its trading platform this week, the CFD broker said, giving clients access to event-driven contracts alongside its existing forex and CFD lineup. The add-on module runs on Match-Trader, built by Match-Trade Technologies, and keeps both product lines under one login and account balance.

Born2trade set the same goal in May, when it acquired the domain Predictory.com and said it planned to launch prediction markets within the first half of 2026. That window closed before this week's rollout arrived, and the press release does not mention Predictory.com or say whether the domain factors into the new module.

A Module Supplied by the Platform, Not Built In-House

The product Born2trade launched comes from its platform vendor rather than an in-house build. Match-Trade Technologies released its own prediction markets system in April, offered to any Match-Trader broker as an add-on inside the existing platform or as a separate white-label product, running on the same execution engine the company has used for FX and CFD pricing for more than a decade.

That system groups events by category and updates outcome probabilities in real time as positions accumulate, settling contracts automatically once an event resolves, with winning positions closing at a value of one and losing positions at zero, according to Match-Trade's own description of the product.

Serhii Poplavski, head of the Match-Trader platform, said prediction markets are becoming a standard feature for brokers and that "the competitive advantage will belong to those who onboard users first." Match-Trade put Poplavski in charge of the platform in June, with a mandate covering both prop trading and prediction markets adoption.

Born2trade, which holds a license from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius and is registered in Saint Lucia, said the module targets traders outside its usual base, including crypto-native users, politically engaged traders, and sports and entertainment fans. The broker said it will start with a limited set of high-interest events under defined settlement rules and expand based on demand, without naming a number of events or a rollout schedule.

Platform Vendors Race to Supply the Same Module

The contest playing out through Born2trade is less about brokers building event contracts themselves and more about which platform vendor ships the module first. Match-Trade, Leverate and Devexperts have each released a broker-facing prediction markets product since February, all pitched as additions to an existing stack rather than ground-up builds.

Leverate opened its white-label prediction markets platform in February, citing 85% monthly retention and week-long deployment, and later added a pricing engine that pairs automated market-making with a central limit order book.

Devexperts built its version around DXtrade and DXmatch, adding deliberate latency on some event types to limit front-running around live sports results.

Match-Trade reported more than 160 connected brokers and prop firms and 1.8 million registered trader accounts on its platform around the time it introduced the prediction markets product, giving it an existing broker network to sell the module into.

The vendors are chasing a market that grew quickly enough to draw their attention. Global volume across major prediction market platforms reached roughly $44 billion in 2025, Finance Magnates reported in April, with a single-day record of $701.7 million set in January.

The press release's company boilerplate also promotes Born2trade's Dynamic account, which offers leverage up to 1:5000 on selected pairs and gold, a level FinanceMagnates.com has reported sits far above the 1:30 cap enforced across the EU, UK and Australia.
