Cryptocurrency exchange BingX has launched contract-for-difference trading, expanding its offering into traditional financial markets.
The launch follows similar moves by other crypto-focused platforms into traditional markets. Last year, Nexo launched CFDs on forex, commodities and stock indices through MT5, while Bybit introduced TradFi products covering forex, gold, indices, commodities and stock CFDs. The moves point to a broader expansion by crypto platforms into multi-asset trading.
BingX Launches CFDs With MT5 Support
BingX announced the launch on August 10, 2026. It said eligible users can trade CFDs through their existing accounts across precious metals, stock indices, foreign exchange and commodities, without owning the underlying assets.

CFD positions are settled based on the difference between their opening and closing prices. BingX supports long and short positions and offers leverage , allowing traders to take positions larger than their initial capital through margin-based trading.
The product is also compatible with the MetaTrader 5 ecosystem, giving users access to MT5 tools and functionality. BingX said users can manage crypto assets and traditional-market CFDs within the same ecosystem, without moving between separate platforms.
BingX Leaves CFD Details Undisclosed
"Markets increasingly move across asset classes, and traders need the flexibility to respond as those opportunities emerge," said Kevin Lee, Chief Strategy Officer at BingX.
Lee said the CFD offering brings "traditional-market exposure into the same ecosystem as crypto". He added that the company would focus on "broader access alongside transparency, responsible trading, and effective risk management."
BingX said the products are available only to eligible users. The announcement did not specify the jurisdictions where the CFDs are available or provide a detailed list of instruments within each asset class.
