DataCash, MastrCard’s payment processor subsidiary will be announcing an array of new and innovative payment solutions at this year’s Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) 2014 starting today, March 11th.
A total of 3 new innovations will be unveiled at the expo and include QkRTM(pronounced ‘quicker’), ShopThis!™, and lastly Von Bismark’s Evolve payment solution.
In addition to the payment innovations, DataCash’s Director of Retail, Partners and Multi-Channel, Wendy Dobson will participate in the “Payment Industry Initiatives” discussion panel.

DataCash, a MasterCard company, will showcase a range of innovative payment solutions as part of its presence at Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) 2014 on March 11-12 at stand 275.

With this in mind, attendees can view demonstrations of some of the latest products from MasterCard Labs, MasterCard’s innovation and R&D division, including:
QkRTM(pronounced ‘quicker’), a mobile payments platform that enables consumers to order and pay for goods and services from QkR-enabled merchants directly from their smartphone. Also, attendees can see how the QkR platform translates to wearable devices, as these become increasingly popular with consumers.

ShopThis!™ is designed to let retailers sell products directly from published digital content. ShopThis! streamlines the commerce moment to drive consumers from inspiration to purchase. The solution allows consumers to purchase directly from participating retailers, without leaving the digital publication they are reading or viewing.
These solutions are built on the MasterPassTM platform, MasterCard’s digital service that allows consumers to use any payment card or enabled device to discover enhanced shopping experiences that are as simple as a click, tap or touch – online, in-store or anywhere.
DataCash also welcome a number of industry partners to demonstrate innovation in payments on stand.
LinkTo interactive video technology – How To TV bring a market solution which leverages digital media and interactive content so consumers can instantly purchase goods via embedded links inside a video player using the LinkTo technology. Retailers can directly connect products and services featured in video content to a simple and secure payment process.
Von Bismark Evolve – launch its ground-breaking solution which enables online payments in-store leveraging motion capture and augmented reality to create a world where consumers can physically interact with digital inventory. This solution has been built for the retail market to help merchants transform the in-store shopping experience and achieve digital convergence.
In addition to the demos, Wendy Dobson, Director of Retail, Partners and Multi-Channel at DataCash will participate in a panel discussion entitled “Payment Industry Initiatives” on Wednesday, March 12, at 10:45 am in the Retailer Payment Theatre.
