Optimal Payments has announced today that they have partnered with Channel 1 Media to offer integrated Ecommerce payment solutions for Major league North American sports teams.
Channel 1 Media has been around since 1998, and specializes in interactive marketing and sales tools for Major League sports organization such as the NBA, NFL, NHL and the MLB. By partnering with Optimal Payments, Channel 1 Media will be able to integrate their online and mobile payment platforms with their own system. The services that will be integrated are credit or debit card processing, team branded loyalty cards and digital wallets that can be used for online purchases, as well as in the stadium.
Optimal Payments already provides similar services for European sports clubs. The partnership with Channel 1 Media will help Optimal Payments with entering the North American market. The first team that will take advantage of the new partnership will be Major League Soccer club, The San Jose Earthquakes.
