Sky Links Capital Group has appointed Hormoz Faryar as Managing Director to lead the broker’s institutional business development and expansion across key markets.

London's trading industry is coming home!

Bringing extensive industry experience, Faryar previously held the position of Managing Director of Institutional Sales at ATFX MENA. His long career also features key leadership roles, including Head of Institutional Sales at ADDS and Vice President of AES FX Sales at Credit Suisse.

Reflecting on his new role, Faryar stated: “Sky Links Capital presents an exciting platform to develop tailored institutional offerings for an ever-changing market.”

The Institutional Pivot

Emerging from Dubai real estate firm Sky Links Properties LLC and Sky Links Gold Trading LLC, both founded in 2018 by Talat Rathore, a former Vice President at ADSS, Sky Links Capital was spun out to expand the group's footprint.

In 2024, the business recruited Daniel Takieddine, former CEO of BDSwiss MENA, to establish Sky Links Capital as its brokerage division dedicated to the MENA market.

Takieddine commented on Fayar’s appointment, saying it “marks a pivotal moment in Sky Links Capital’s institutional growth strategy, “ and noted that “we are confident that his leadership will accelerate our institutional division and unlock significant opportunities across our growing platform.

Sky Links Capital’s push into institutional markets reflects a broader industry trend. As retail brokers face growing costs related to client acquisition, regulatory compliance, and retention, some are seeking to diversify by targeting professional and institutional clients with more specialised trading and execution services.

Others are expanding into B2B services, including liquidity provision, trading technology and white-label solutions.
