Rostro Group has appointed Oliver Ryan as the new Head
of Trading Operations, Systematic Market, according to Ryan’s LinkedIn post
today (Tuesday).
Ryan joins from Exinity, where he worked for nearly two
years as a Trader. He has extensive industry experience from notable companies
in the industry, including Advanced Markets Group, where he worked both as a
Trader and a Market Marker.

Since the beginning of the year, Rostro Group has made
key hires to strengthen its trading operations. In January, the parent company of the popular retail trading brand Scope hired two executives to senior positions.
Demetra Charalambous joined as Group Finance Director,
while Sammy Christou was appointed as the Managing Director of Systematic
Market Making.
Charalambous has held
senior finance roles in the trading industry for the past decade and is a
Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Additionally, she
had served as Head of Finance at Binance for three years and held a similar
position at eToro.
On the other hand, Christou has 17 years of experience in
trading and risk management roles at UK brokerage firms. Previously, Christou
worked with several other companies in the industry, beginning his career as a
trader at GAIN Capital.
Rostro Expands Team and Product Offerings
Rostro has hired several financial experts and shows no signs of slowing down. In a recent interview with Finance Magnates, Michael Ayres, the CEO of Rostro Group, commented on future plans.

At the end of last year, he said that the firm had surpassed
200 employees, and the number continues to grow. “The hires were really around
certain regions... We won’t keep running at this rate; otherwise, I'll probably
end up with more people than I would like to oversee,” he mentioned.
Also, early this year, the group expanded its product
offerings with a new futures and options division. This included the
appointment of Saul Knapp to the newly created role of Managing Director of Futures and Options. The company noted that it will offer Direct Market Access in
collaboration with order management system providers TT and CQG.
