A sad day for the US forex industry as William (Bill) Lawless leaves to join a non forex company – Windstream Hosted Solutions. Bill was a a highly experienced director of sales at FXDD and it’s a great loss for the industry (blame the US regulators for that).
Bill’s biography: William Lawless started his career in Forex in 1990 as a Spot Forex Broker and German Mark Specialist at Noonan, Astley and Pearce. In 1997, he moved to JP Morgan Chase where he worked as an Emerging Markets and Options Support Specialist, a role that required him to analyze the P&L of the futures desk to ensure accuracy and compliance with the firm’s limits. In 2005, Mr. Lawless joined a leading US based retail Forex firm, where he served as Head of Retail Sales and Senior Vice President of Institutional Sales. In 2011, Mr. Lawless joined FXDD as the Director of Retail Sales, overseeing sales and Forex education.
