Cosmin Ruse, City Credit Capital
City Credit Capital appointed Cosmin Ruse as its President and Chief Executive Officer in Romania. The addition of Ruse will help strengthen its offering and market penetration in Romania. In his new role Mr. Ruse will be based out of Bucharest. Prior to City Credit Capital, Mr. Ruse worked in a number of groups specializing in financial services – this included stints as the President and CEO of S.S.I.F. DORINVEST S.A., having also served on its board of directors.

Stephen Dainton, Credit Suisse
Credit Suisse announced last Wednesday the departure of its co-head of trading unit in EMEA, Stephen Dainton, following a disappointing equity trading performance in the last year. X-Trade Brokers (WSE:XTB) dismissed longtime executive and Chief Executive Officer Jakub Maly. The decision to supplant Mr. Maly came on the heels of the lackluster aftermath of XTB’s IPO as well as shifting trends in the Polish regulatory regime, with regard to FX. Since debuting in May 2016, XTB’s share prices and financial results have also been lower, possibly paving the way for a changing of the guard.
Vatsa Narasimha, OANDA
OANDA elevated its acting Chief Financial Officer Vatsa Narasimha to the role of Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Ed Eger, who is slated to remain with the broker to help facilitate a transition. The move represented a shakeup at the highest level at OANDA, after Mr. Narasimha’s work with helping steer the group’s trajectory to new sectors, with an emphasis on regional growth.

BTIG on-boarded Drew Doscher as its Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Credit. In his new role Mr. Doscher will be initiating BTIG’s newly launched distressed debt and trade claim business, helping augment the firm’s high-yield and convertible bond capabilities.
David Lynne and James Boyle, Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank AG named two new senior hires Friday, appointing David Lynne and James Boyle as its newest Co-Heads of Global Markets for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Asia-Pacific (APAC) The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is one of the fastest growing in terms of population.
