Since launching its operations in Hong Kong in February 2017, IS Prime has continually built up its personnel in the region. This includes a number of senior hires over the past twelve months including Will Robins as its Asian head.

In her new role, Yang will be reporting directly to Robbins. He commented on the hire: “Shuyi has an excellent sales background and a strong understanding of the institutional and retail markets across the region. She is bi-lingual, having been university educated in Australia, and will be a strong addition to our team. Shuyi will play a key role in helping us to achieve our ambitious growth plans as we continue to gain traction in the region.”

Her addition represents IS Prime Hong Kong’s latest hire and its latest bid to strengthen its capabilities in the region. The Northern Asian region has remained a strong point of emphasis for IS Prime Hong Kong, with Yang being no stranger to the area.

She joins IS Prime with several years of sales and client account management experience, having come over from LMAX Exchange in Hong Kong. Additional roles also include stops at AxiCorp and AUSMAQ in Sydney, rounding out her experience in the region.

“I am very excited to be joining such a prestigious firm, building on my experience in the industry and focusing on client Acquisition . IS Prime is a market-leading broker with a strong reputation globally. This is a great opportunity for me,” she said.
