John Schoen Joins State Street’s Currenex as Managing Director

In his new role as the managing director of State Street’s Currrenex operations, Mr. Schoen will be based out of New York, where he will be reporting to Rick Schonberg, State Street’s senior managing director and global head of product for trading – North America.
Mr. Schoen has relocated to New York from London and is slated to begin his new appointment immediately. Prior to joining State Street, he worked as ICAP’s co-Head, EBS market since early 2013.
In addition to this role at ICAP, he also served as its regional FX product manager – Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Additional stops include global project manager at EBS, as well as senior level roles at Barclays and Credit Suisse, according to information on his Linkedin profile.
