- HSBC Holdings Plc has named Andy Maguire as its newest Group Chief Operating Officer and Group General Manager, succeeding Sean O'Sullivan who is retiring after 34 years at HSBC.

HSBC Holdings Plc has named Andy Maguire as its newest Group Chief Operating Officer and Group General Manager, succeeding Sean O'Sullivan who is retiring after 34 years at HSBC.
HSBC has made a number of recent changes across its personnel departments, namely FX, involving the dismissal of traders as well as the addition of Madhuri Desai to its FX Sales Team.
Mr. Maguire is slated to assume his new role as of December 1, during which Mr. O'Sullivan will help assist in the transition after his lengthy career spanning over three decades. Prior to joining HSBC, Mr. Maguire worked at Boston Consulting Group as a Managing Partner of both the UK and Ireland.
