FXPrimus Adds Vince De Castro as its Newest CMO

Mr. De Castro joins FXPrimus after a lengthy career in the marketing space.

FXPrimus has added a new veteran to its growing ranks, on-boarding Vince De Castro as its newest Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Finance Magnates has learned. With nearly seven years in the marketing space, Mr. De Castro constitutes a veteran hire who will help strengthen FXPrimus’ marketing operations with immediate effect.

Mr. De Castro is no stranger to the FX industry, having been entrenched in various senior level roles since 2011. In his new position at FXPrimus, he will spearhead overall marketing and branding efforts.

FXPrimus has worked to oversee a growing client base in recent years through various initiatives. Of note could be the group’s recently expanded cryptocurrency offering, which launched back in September 2017. With demand for retail trading amongst these instruments and others at an all-time high, Mr. De Castro’s hire comes at an important juncture for FXPrimus as it looks to promote its growing brand.

Mr. De Castro joins FXPrimus from Orbex, having worked at the group since January 2017. Additionally, he has worked at several other marketing related roles, dating back to 2011. This includes stints as its SEM Manager at Easy Forex, paving the way for a role as the Head of Marketing at Liquid Markets.

“It’s an honour to join an established brand such as FXPRIMUS, which has over 10 years experience in the market, and which has been growing at a great pace, year on year. I join an ambitious team, and I bring with me the knowhow and the drive to help build the FXPRIMUS brand both online and offline. In due course, I’m confident that we can bring one of the safest and most ethical brokers within the reach of all eligible traders around the globe,” explained Mr. De Castro exclusively to Finance Magnates.

In this capacity he helped produce strategy and content for the group while also focusing on several other key marketing responsibilities. Following this position, he also worked at LiteForex as its Global Marketing Manager, as well as Director of Digital Marketing at easyMarkets, a role he worked at for over two years.

The bulk of his career however has been outside the field of FX. It included stops at IT World Canada for over twelve years – during this period he worked as an Executive Producer and Business Development Manager, dating back to 1999.
