Invast Global has strengthened its team with the latest appointment of Tiffany Besnard as the Director and Head of Hedge Fund Sales (APAC). She has already joined the multi-asset prime brokerage and is based out of the Sydney offices.

She joins when Invast is aggressively growing its footprint in the Asia Pacific region. In the role, she will work alongside the company’s Prime Services team. According to the press release shared with Finance Magnates, she will “lead many strategic projects” but did not specify any.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Invast Global at such an exciting time,” Besnard said in a statement. “I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to advance growth and strategic direction. I’m also looking forward to meeting new and existing clients in APAC very soon.”

She is one of the many major hirings of Invast over the recent months. Last October, the company onboarded Stephen Tudjman as the Global Head of Legal and Compliance. In addition, it strengthened its Prime Services by hiring Andrew Bradshaw as the Head, Cyrus Poon as the Managing Director, and Matt Harris as a Director.

Meanwhile, Invast Global agreed to acquire GMO Financial Holdings-owned GMO-Z.com Trade UK Limited, ensuring the Aussie company’s entrance into the United Kingdom markets. Bringing String Wall Street Experience

Besnard brings over two decades of experience to her new role at Invast Global. She joined Invast Global from the Australian digital asset exchange, BTC Markets, where she spent the last year as a Client Services Manager, OTC trading and Institutional Business Development.

Moreover, she has extensive experience working with the Wall Street giants. She started her career at Morgan Stanley, where she spent over twelve years in the company, and then joined Goldman Sachs. There she worked for about six years as a Vice President, was responsible for complex global quant all-synthetic fund launches, and managed product revenue growth for the US West Coast region.

On top of that, she founded and ran a consultancy for business expense reduction and cost recovery for a couple of years.
