OptionsCity, a multi-asset trading and options provider, announced its selection of Interxion in an effort to expand and better coordinate its hosting capabilities in London by utilizing its European-oriented cloud and carrier-neutral colocation services, according to an OptionsCity statement.

OptionsCity Bridges US-European Colocation Hosting

This latest offering by OptionsCity encapsulates a truly worldwide initiative that adds London to an assortment of facilities, which include New York, Chicago, Aurora and Frankfurt – Interxion’s data centers, and more specifically its European services now serve a crucial expansionary role. OptionsCity is already connected to several Forex and asset exchanges, including CME Group, ISE, ICE, TMX and a variety of others, having also been the subject of multiple investment aims over the past year.

OptionsCity’s software platform suite, along with Interxion's new service options, affords clients and users the ability to quickly and effortlessly integrate with some of the world’s leading exchanges worldwide. Moreover, the low latency access personifies the many advantages given to clients that now features a European-based offering.

As such, OptionsCity relies on two Trading Platform offerings – OptionsCity Metro and OptionsCity Freeway. The former is a trading and market platform, equipped with a comprehensive interface and user capabilities. Meanwhile, Freeway is the multi-asset trading mechanism designed for traders who require complex and extensive executions.

We selected Interxion based on proximity to equity and derivatives markets, low latency connectivity and facility security.”
