Global Prime Partners (GPP), a provider of prime brokerage and trading services to hedge funds, asset managers and professional traders, has expanded its focus with the launch of a new Structured Products division.

The initiative follows the appointment of Mike Ward late last year which was designed to kindle an emphasis on developing an in-house franchise across derivatives-based structured securities and funds. The newly formed Structured Products division will initially target domestic clients in the UK, and will help provide clients with access to the optimal issuers of structured products combined with bespoke technology and tailored customer service.

According to Mike Ward, Head of Business Development at Global Prime Partners, in a recent statement on the launch: “We have been fortunate to work with a great panel of issuing banks and developed a bespoke structured products platform designed specifically for the needs of wealth managers.”
