Samsung has entered a new partnership with Coinbase to bring digital asset services to 75 million Galaxy device owners in the United States. The agreement gives users access to Coinbase’s priority trading service and is described as the largest single consumer distribution effort by the exchange. For Samsung, it is the most extensive integration of crypto features on its smartphones to date.

The move follows an earlier effort in 2020, when Samsung worked with Gemini to allow Blockchain Wallet users in the US and Canada to trade digital currencies directly. That initiative marked Samsung’s first collaboration with a US-based crypto exchange.

Under the new deal, Galaxy owners can use Coinbase One, a subscription service that offers zero-fee trading and higher staking rewards. The service is built into Samsung Wallet, meaning users do not need to install separate applications or transfer funds between platforms.

Samsung Pay is also being linked with Coinbase accounts. This will enable Galaxy device holders to make payments tied to their crypto holdings. The wallet already functions as a storage hub for payment cards, transit passes, and digital IDs.
