Trading Technologies has announced that it has become the first independent software vendor (ISV) to pass conformance with CME Europe, the CME Group’s London based futures Exchange . The passing of conformance will allow Trading Technologies software and its electronic Trading Platform , X_TRADER to be available for FX futures trading for CME Europe’s proposed launch data of September 9th later this year. X_TRADER, and its accompanying suite of algorithmic and spread trading products are one of the most widely used electronic trading platforms for futures, with the system connecting to major global derivatives exchanges.

Commenting on the approval, launch, Harris Brumfield, CEO of Trading Technologies stated “We will give our clients the ability to trade CME Europe through X_TRADER(R) at no additional cost on day one. We expect this new exchange from CME Group will provide our broad international client base with interesting new opportunities to hedge and manage risk, and we look forward to the launch.”

Robert Ray, Chief Executive Officer of CME Europe added “as we work our way through the approval process, we are excited at the feedback and input from the marketplace ahead of our launch. Having Trading Technologies now ready and able to provide its services for our prospective clients in Europe and Asia on day one is an important step for our upcoming launch.”.
