The offer covers all major Colt network services on a Pan-European basis, including data centre to data centre connectivity, cloud connectivity and wide area network (WAN) connectivity, and enables businesses of all sizes to future proof their connectivity.
Tom Regent, Chief Commercial Officer at Colt, commented: “Our core investments mean we are able to meet the ever increasing demands of our customers. The applications and services that businesses run on are moving into the cloud and the datacentre, and the employees who will be running these businesses in the future expect to be able to provision services when and where they need them, and close them down when no longer required, only paying for what they use.”
He further explained: “Colt is committed to driving value for customers across Europe and Asia, providing competitive service flexibility and scalability. Connectivity is the enabler for cloud services and for how our customers deliver on their own customer experience. We want to help businesses face challenges by significantly upgrading their current connectivity and future proofing their business”.
Colt’s 100Gbps-enabled network capability gives Colt the flexibility and cost structure to substantially change the economics of its network offerings to the benefit of its customers.
Additional customer-oriented offers from Colt will also be made available in the future together with new on demand services as a direct result of its innovative software defined networking (SDN) roll-out and continued investment in its core network.
