ITG Adds Futures Execution Capabilities

ITG announced the addition of futures execution to its multi-asset platform and end-to-end suite of offerings. In addition to futures, the firm provides a breadth of offerings in the equities, derivatives and FX asset classes. The firm’s release is shown below.

The execution capabilities include both direct market access (DMA) and the use of ITG's futures algorithms. The new capabilities can be accessed via ITG's trading platforms through a Morgan Stanley introducing brokerage and technology agreement. The futures suite also includes new proprietary functionality for the seamless rolling of futures contracts at expiration dates, reducing transaction costs and improving trade desk productivity.

In addition, global broker-neutral routing capabilities for futures are available via ITG's award-winning Execution Management System, Triton, the ITG Order Management System and also via ITG Net FIX connection from most third party EMS and OMS platforms.

"These expanded futures capabilities demonstrate our commitment to access Liquidity across asset classes and around the globe for our clients," said ITG's Head of Liquidity Management, Jamie Selway.

Also commenting on the launch, ITG's Head of Platforms, Will Geyer, said, "the expanded futures capabilities in Triton and ITG OMS reinforce ITG's position as an industry-leading trade management platform and a trusted partner to the institutional investment community."

ITG's Triton offers connectivity to more than 450 brokers worldwide combined with powerful trading tools and an integrated suite of pre-trade, intra-day and post-trade Analytics . ITG's liquidity management solutions include industry-leading algorithms in 35 markets across the Americas, Asia Pacific and the EMEA region and POSIT® dark crossing in 27 markets worldwide.
