Starting 16 January, 2017, investors may contact securities firms administering such payment plans and proceed to make periodic subscriptions of stocks and ETFs.
The TWSE has held information sessions across Taiwan explaining the rules of periodic payment plans to representatives from securities firms.

The goal of the additional service is to help investors across Taiwan get a better understanding of the practical aspects of period payment plans while enhancing their financial planning by way of making smaller payments over the term of the contract, thus reducing investment risk.
