OTC Markets Expands with Addition of ClearTrust and Equity Stock Transfer

The program gives investors current share structure and assists them with providing accurate information.

Exchange operator OTC Markets Group (OTCQX: OTCM) announced today that ClearTrust, LLC and Equity Stock Transfer have joined its Transfer Agent Verified Shares Program, accelerating its initiative to enhance the availability and accuracy share data for OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink securities.

The Transfer Agent Verified Shares Program is designed to work with transfer agents, providing investors with current and reliable share data on OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink securities.

The program allows stock transfer agents to report their clients’ share data, including authorized and outstanding shares, to OTC Markets on a regular basis via a secure, electronic file transfer.

Share data provided by transfer agents is displayed on OTC Markets website alongside a ‘Verified’ logo, indicating the information is authentic. This data is also disseminated through OTC Markets’ market data feeds to investors and broker-dealers.

ClearTrust and Equity Stock Transfer join an expanding list of transfer agents that have joined the program in recent weeks, including Direct Transfer LLC, Olde Monmouth Stock Transfer and VStock Transfer.
