The iShares US Mortgage Backed Securities UCITS ETF gives investors access to the performance of mortgage-backed securities denominated in US dollars for the first time.
The bonds included in the reference index are issued by US government sponsored enterprises including US Ginnie Mae (GNMA), Fannie Mae (FNMA) and Freddie Mac (FHLMC) and have an investment grade rating. The bonds must also have a minimum residual maturity of one year, a fixed interest rate and a minimum volume of US$ 1 billion.
The product offering in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,141 exchange traded funds. This selection, together with an average monthly trading volume of around €15 billion, makes Deutsche Börse Cash Market and its XTF segment, Xetra, Europe’s main trading venue for ETFs.
