Exclusive: Linear Investments Enters FX Prime Broking Space
- The company brings its FX product offering to market after partnering with Integral and Barclays.

The CEO of Linear Investments, Paul Kelly, shared exclusively with Finance Magnates that the company is expanding its FX product offering. The specialist prime broker signed a deal with Integral and is deploying for its clients Integral BankFX.
Linear has also signed an agreement with Barclays Bank. The product has been in the making for some time with the company entrusting its FX business to industry veteran Christopher Laird.
Laird was instrumental in the development of the offerings of ODL Securities and Walbrook Capital Markets (also knows as FXCM Securities).
“Whilst this project has been 12 months in the making, we were determined from the outset to avoid the pitfalls of marrying in haste. We examined a variety of options and in selecting the Integral platform are confident we are providing our clients with a genuine ‘best of breed’ offering,” Laird explains.
Institutional Clients Focus
While foreign exchange is not the core service of Linear Investments, Laird also shared that the company is confident that the addition of this new capability will complement its portfolio of products.
“Our goal is to enable our clients to transact all their business under one roof allowing the easier flow of business, one point of contact and the financial benefits of scale,” Laird elaborated.
Linear Investments is providing to its client base the same level of service and functionality for FX that it already offers for equities, derivatives, and fixed income. The prime broker, which is based in London’s West End, is entering the market with an eye for professional and institutional clients.
The company is delivering to market a direct market access (DMA) offering across a broad spectrum of investment products.
