XTB has signed a global partnership with Portuguese football club FC Porto. Under the agreement, the online trading and investment platform will become the sleeve sponsor of the club's men's first-team shirts in domestic competitions from the start of the 2026/27 season.

The FC Porto agreement follows XTB's partnership with Italian football club SSC Napoli announced in April, extending the broker's football sponsorship strategy across another major European league.

The latest agreement will run for three years. XTB's branding will appear on FC Porto's match shirts in domestic competitions. The company will also receive advertising exposure through pitch-side LED boards, stadium videowalls, press room branding, and other promotional assets at Estádio do Dragão.

The companies also plan to produce digital content, player-related marketing campaigns, and other promotional activities as part of the partnership.

Omar Arnaout, Chief Executive Officer of XTB, said the partnership would increase the company's visibility in Europe and strengthen its connection with football audiences. He said the collaboration would go beyond sponsorship and would also focus on "financial education and empowerment for a global fanbase."

XTB said the partnership also supports its regional strategy in the Middle East and North Africa.

Finance Magnates also reported that XTB had become a sponsor of FIBA and will be one of the main sponsors during the Basketball World Cups this year and next.

FC Porto Partnership Expands XTB Marketing Rights

Achraf Drid, Managing Director of XTB MENA, said the agreement supports the company's international expansion. He described the partnership as one that "bridges the gap between our trading platform mission and the global standard of performance that our investors demand."

XTB said the agreement also includes digital communication rights, allowing the company to promote the partnership across its online channels.
