MNI, a provider of financial market related news for traders, has announced a tailored FX news feed that can be deployed by brokerages via the MetaTrader4 and MetaTrader 5 Platforms, available in English and Arabic.
As a global news provider dedicated to delivering real-time information about capital markets covering fundamental and technical analysis, MNI FX Bullet Points service is tailored for foreign exchange news, and now available through both platforms by MetaQuotes -the B2B software development company established in 2000.
This service is aimed to enable FX brokers –via a purchased subscription - to quickly and easily access MNI’s FX news services via the MT4 and/or MT5 platforms, in order to help provide their clients and end users with timely insight of market-related news to help them make informed investment decisions, as described in the jointly issued press release.
Via The News Tab in MetaTrader Platforms
Positioned to ultimately help clients trade with more confidence as fundamental news, including geopolitical, and technical-related price action can affect market prices. The paid service can be obtained by brokers with a trial access via either platforms, according to the jointly issued announcement.
MNI is already widely used by MT4 brokers offering the MNI news feed within the platform as part of their offering. The new FX Bullet Points service appears to be consistent with the format and style that news is delivered within the MT4/MT5 platforms via the “news” tab in the trading terminal.
As new news comes through the platform a time stamp appears with the latest headline and some providers offer links that direct back to the source. The MNI FX Bullet Points is a news and analytics service that is available in both English and Arabic, according to the official press release.
The information is provided in succinct bullet points 24 hours a day and provides minute-by-minute reporting on global currency markets, according to the explanation in the press release.
Key elements of the service were noted to include trading flows, MNI 'Order Boards', key trader talk driving the markets, data analysis directly from the 'lockups', exclusive interviews and sources' stories and event calendars, as per the description in the press release.
MNI is Platform-Neutral, Not its First Time on MT4 Either.
Because the decision as to which news provider to offer is made at the broker level, accordingly, news sources may vary from one brokerage to the next when comparing MT4/MT5 terminals across various online forex trading providers, with the latest option available from MNI in today’s announcement.
Michael Connor, Chief Executive Officer of MNI
After its acquisition by China-based Xinhua Finance, MNI was subsequently acquired by Deutsche Börse Group in 2008, and has benefited under its CEO Michael Connor, as the company has grown over the years driven through his guidance and entrepreneurship.
"We are very happy that financial professionals can now access MNI FX Bullet Points in both English and Arabic on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5," commented Michael Connor, Chief Executive Officer of MNI, in the official press release.
Mr. Connor further added in the corporate announcement:
"We are excited to be able to present our customers with a new opportunity to access our content, and we look forward to working with MetaQuotes and its customers."
MetaTrader Platform is News-Neutral, As It Is Broker-Neutral
Every broker offering MT4 and/or MT5 must choose a 3rd party news provider either from an independent source or packaged along from the brokers existing rate providers, as MetaQuotes does not provide news directly and instead acts as a neutral channel for the 3rd party content to be delivered.
Renat Fatkhullin, CEO of MetaQuotes Software Corp.
Commenting in the official press release regarding the new integration, Renat Fatkhullin, CEO of MetaQuotes Software Corporation said, “We are very pleased to integrate the MNI FX Bullet Points into both our platforms MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5."
Mr. Fatkhullin added in the press release, "We believe that the MNI News Feed will be a great arsenal for traders in the Arabic and English language, complementing the MetaTrader technology to help traders succeed.”
As news providers compete to deliver their content to platform developers as a means to acquire a distribution channel of the platform provider's user-base (in this case every brokerage that uses MT4/MT5) and their respective end-users (traders), the method, quality, format and features of the content and any included tools will be the key differentiating factors (in addition to the underlying news relevance for traders).

Bangkok is consolidating as Southeast Asia's broker hub for CLMV access, while Vietnam's trading volumes have made it harder to ignore from any regional headquarters. Most brokers know both exist. Fewer have tested what operating there actually requires.
This session gathers practitioners with on-the-ground experience in both markets to examine what it takes to build and run operations in Thailand and Vietnam.
Attendees will walk away with:
A clear view of setup requirements in both markets: entity structures, timelines, and what first-time operators tend to get wrong
Understanding of the offshore broker model and how compliant operators work within domestic restrictions in each jurisdiction
Insight into talent acquisition, client onboarding, and distribution in markets where language, culture, and acquisition channels don't follow standard APAC assumptions
Perspective on adjacent Southeast Asian markets worth monitoring for the next regional move
