Spec Markets has integrated iSAM Securities’ Radar risk analytics platform and Apex bridge into its trading operations, adding tools for risk monitoring, liquidity routing and execution management.
London's trading industry is coming home!
The move follows other developments involving iSAM Securities’ trading infrastructure, including the integration of TRAction’s reporting platform with its liquidity bridge.
Radar gives Spec Markets’ risk and dealing teams visibility into client exposure, trading behaviour and profitability. Apex handles pricing, liquidity routing, hedging and execution configuration.
iSAM Tools Add Cross Broker Risk Visibility
The integration also includes Radar’s Network Alerts feature, which can identify linked accounts and trading patterns across iSAM Securities’ broker network. This can help flag activity that may not be visible to a broker monitoring its own accounts, including related positions held across multiple brokers.

Spec Markets is regulated by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius. The wider Spec group also holds an Australian Financial Services Licence and a financial services licence in South Africa.
Dennis Weissert, Chief Commercial Officer at Apex, said the setup is intended to address potential gaps as brokers expand.
“The best time to strengthen risk and execution infrastructure is before a broker’s growth exposes its blind spots.”
Spec Markets Expands Liquidity and Risk Infrastructure
Apex also provides execution infrastructure designed to support trading during periods of higher market volatility, when liquidity and pricing conditions can change quickly.
Spec Markets said the integration is part of its wider efforts to support increasing client activity while bringing risk and execution functions into a more connected setup.
Lucy Lu, Director at Spec Capital Group, said the relationship with iSAM Securities now covers liquidity, technology and risk management .
“This gives our team faster access to risk information, supports quicker and more informed decision-making.”
Lu added that the relationship could support the development of liquidity solutions based on clients’ trading characteristics.
