Assetera has added xStocks to its platform, giving eligible retail investors and B2B partners access to more than 200 tokenised stocks across 30 EU and EEA markets.

The move follows other European distribution deals for xStocks, including its debut on Deutsche Börse's 360X earlier this year.

London's trading industry is coming home!

It expands access to xStocks through Assetera, which operates an EU-regulated platform for buying and selling tokenised securities for institutional and retail investors.

Assetera Adds Tokenised Stock Access

According to an announcement from xStocks, the products are now live on Assetera across its European distribution network.

xStocks are blockchain -based representations of traditional securities. They provide exposure to underlying stocks through tokenised instruments.

The addition gives eligible European investors another route to access tokenised equities through regulated market infrastructure.

The launch comes as tokenised stocks attract interest from both crypto and traditional market participants. xStocks has processed more than $40 billion in transactions, according to Reuters. Tokenised equities, however, remain a small part of the broader stock market.

xStocks Trading Volume Surpasses $25 Billion

The latest expansion follows a period of increased activity around xStocks. Finance Magnates previously reported that Kraken-backed xStocks had surpassed $25 billion in tokenised trading volume, with more than 80,000 unique on-chain holders. Since then, transaction volume has continued to grow.

Kraken has also partnered with Nasdaq on infrastructure for bringing traditional stocks onto blockchain networks. Finance Magnates reported that xStocks is part of Kraken's broader tokenisation efforts, which have recorded more than $25 billion in transaction volume.
