The multi-asset brokerage Vantage Markets announced on Thursday that it will continue its sponsorship of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E racing team for a third consecutive year. Extreme E is an off-road electric SUV racing circuit aiming to promote sustainability and raise awareness of environmental issues.

This move demonstrates that in the world of brokerage and sports promotion, not only football but also other disciplines matter.

Vantage Markets Extends Partnership in Motorsports

Originally formed in 2022, the partnership between UK-based Vantage and the NEOM McLaren squad centers on "shared commitment towards innovation." To reflect this, Vantage and McLaren have collaborated on philanthropic efforts like the Vantage Foundation, which funds sustainability initiatives using auction proceeds from the race team's used equipment and branded gear.

Although brokers typically focus primarily on promotion through football, they also regularly target motorsports. It all began 12 years ago when XTB became the inaugural sponsor of an F1 team. Last year, RoboMarkets sponsored the BMW M Motorsport team during the DTM 2023 Season.

The 2024 Extreme E season will feature some driver changes for McLaren, including the addition of noted racers, Cristina Gutiérrez and Mattias Ekström. Vantage's CEO, David Shayer, welcomed the new drivers and expressed excitement to continue working with the team on and off the course.

"Our continued collaboration with the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team underscores our shared commitment towards innovation, excellence, and leaving a positive mark in our respective fields," commented Shayer.

With the new season approaching, Vantage and McLaren look to build on an already successful alliance rooted in performance, forward-thinking and corporate responsibility.

New Website and CFDs Offering

The beginning of 2024 marked a period of transformation for the multi-asset broker. In January, the retail FX/CFD broker announced a rebranding of the website to enhance mobile readability and functionality, embracing the fresh start in the new year.

Two days later, Vantage revealed updates to its indices CFD product lineup for 2024. The company will introduce new CFDs on the Straits Times Index and Taiwan Stock Exchange Index as part of the revamp to complement existing offerings.

According to Vantage's press release, the expanded range of CFD indices aims to provide traders with more cost-effective products. Key features include up to 500:1 leverage , tight spreads across a wide selection of global markets, and negative balance protection.
