Trading software vendor Leverate named Mexico a key growth market today (Friday), saying it is putting more time and resources into Latin America. The company sells white-label brokerage setups, prop trading platforms and liquidity to brokers, and said it already runs an office in Colombia.
Brokers are already there. At least five CFD brokers have opened or announced offices in Mexico since 2023, most of them in the capital.
Mexico's brokerage firms held 22.3 million investment accounts at the end of September 2025, up from 13.17 million a year earlier, according to the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV).
The count covers stock brokerage accounts, and one investor can hold several.

EC Markets picked Mexico City for its first Latin American office in August 2025, and VT Markets opened one there that December. DB Investing announced its own Mexico office in March.
MultiBank Group has run its Latin American headquarters from Monterrey since 2019.
Webull took the acquisition route and acquired Mexico City investing app Flink in 2023, in a deal that also covered brokerage Vifaru Casa de Bolsa, subject to CNBV approval.
Tradeview, which has operated in Peru for more than 14 years, named Mexico as its next target last year.
No Dedicated CFD Rulebook
Mexico's markets are supervised by the CNBV, the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit and the Bank of Mexico. CFDs are not banned, but the country has no dedicated regime for them.
That lets international brokers market into Mexico cross-border or through representative offices, without the leverage caps and marketing bans applied in parts of Europe, as FinanceMagnates.com reported when DB Investing announced its office.
The CNBV has warned that it does not protect clients who trade with unlicensed foreign brokers.
Software Vendors Follow
Liquidity and technology provider B2Broker has said it has teams in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, and Spotware's cTrader is among the brands confirmed for the Trading Festival Mexico, alongside HFM, Webull and VT Markets.
Leverate said it has broker clients in markets including Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Its regional push is led by Marcelo Podgaetz, senior Latin America director of sales, and María Chamorro, Latin America sales manager.
Podgaetz said brokers and prop firms in the region "want a technology partner who is present and understands their market."
The company has added products this year. It took prediction market software for brokers to iFX EXPO Dubai in February, and in September let clients of its brokers place trades through ChatGPT or Claude.
Leverate plans an invitation-only meeting for brokers and prop firms in Mexico City on November 11, a day before the festival opens at the World Trade Center.
