  • The prop firm has described this move as a bid to establish a "distinct identity" for its next growth phase.
  • Bashaar Gokal, the firm's Director, assured clients that nothing has changed for them.

A peek at the firm's rebranded website.

Hantec Trader, the prop firm arm of the Hantec Group, has rebranded as RZR Funded. The move, however, goes well beyond a surface-level marketing reskin. The firm has also officially changed the name of the corporate entity behind the prop operations from Hantec Trader Limited to RZR Funded Limited.

Despite the name changes, the prop firm remains part of the Group, as it is still powered by Hantec Markets Mauritius, the Group's FSC-regulated retail broker arm.

London's trading industry is coming home!

“The move to RZR Funded establishes a distinct identity for the proprietary trading business as it enters its next chapter, building on an established operating track record while creating greater scope for its future growth,” the firm said.

The Group launched Hantec Trader in 2024, a strategy increasingly popular among brokers to create a conversion funnel from funded trading to retail broker accounts.

However, some have found that this funnel is not easy to maintain; ATFX, for example, halted operations on its own prop firm unit in 2026.

Business As Usual

Bashaar Gokal, Director at RZR Funded, confirmed that the business is expanding its executive roster and preparing to launch new asset classes and trading tools shortly.

Despite the brand separation, the firm emphasised strict continuity for its existing user base.

The operational framework for active funded traders remains untouched; all in-progress evaluation challenges and funded accounts carry over with identical logins, profit splits, drawdown limits, and payout schedules.

“Nothing changes for anyone trading with us today,” Gokal stressed. “RZR Funded represents where we want to take the business next, and traders should expect more from us over the coming years, not less.”
