The company states it became the industry-first to offer investment advisory to retailers.
Finance Magnates discussed the new offering with the Director of Conotoxia Ltd.
Conotoxia,
a retail trading arm of the major Poland-based fintech, Cinkciarz.pl has
broadened its current FX and CFD offering and launched new investment advisory services
with a low entry threshold. The service is already available to retail traders
from Europe.
Conotoxia to Offer
Investment Advice Services
According
to the official announcement seen by Finance Magnates, the advisory
service enables retail traders to receive individual investment recommendations
on selected financial instruments. Conotoxia reveals that it is the first
company in the foreign exchange (FX) and contracts for difference (CFD)
industry to offer this product to traders on a large scale with no entry barriers and a minimum capital threshold. It is confident that it may
revolutionize how retail brokers build their offerings.
Grzegorz Jaworski, the CEO of Conotoxia Ltd.
"The
introduction of the investment advisory service is another significant step in
the development of the Invest & Forex segment. We believe that the
knowledge and experience of advisors can help our clients build their own
professional investment portfolios and make informed and accurate
decisions," Grzegorz Jaworski, the CEO of Conotoxia Ltd. (Cinkciarz.pl's
investment service), commented.
The new
service was unveiled at the Invest Cuffs 2023 conference held in Poland last weekend. Finance Magnates had the opportunity to interview company
representatives, who admitted that with the expansion of the offering, they
want to popularize investing with the support of professional advisors. Such
services usually have a high entry threshold and are not available to small
investors, but Conotoxia plans to change this.
Conotoxia's
Investment advice is aimed at European retail traders, specifically from the European
Economic Area, including European Union countries and Iceland, Liechtenstein
and Norway.
The service
will be accessible via paid subscriptions, but the broker has prepared a
promotion for users who sign up before June. They will have the chance to try
the investment advice for free for a one-month trial period.
In an
interview with Finance Magnates, Jaworski confirmed that investment advice would
not be based on simple recommendations prepared for the general public, but
individually tailored to the needs of individual clients, the size of their
portfolio and their risk profile. In this respect, the offer is unique in the FX/CFD
market. The advisory team does not execute transactions on behalf of the client
but recommends an investment portfolio, and the investor has complete control
over its creation.
"Our
recommendations and professional market analysis are not commonly available,
general market commentaries. Conotoxia Ltd's investment advisor identifies
opportunities (including those not previously pursued) and recommends
appropriate moves," Jaworski added.
Asked
whether investment advice could change individual investors' approach to
investing, Jaworski said that this was the goal of expanding the
existing offering. Conotoxia says other brokers may also move in this direction
in the future.
"We
want to popularize investing in the market with professional support. We want
investors to be able to have options to invest independently as well as with
the support of an investment advisor. In this way, we give our clients a much
broader package of services than our competitors. There is no quota threshold
for entering into an investment advisory, so we make a professional service
available to investors regardless of the size of their portfolio,"
Jaworski said during an interview with Finance Magnates.
Conotoxia Expands in
Europe and Hires New Regional Director
The
Cinkciarz brand is a leading fintech firm related to payments and investing
in the Polish market. Together with Conotoxia, it is a part of the Conotoxia
Holding Group, which includes four companies, two registered in Poland, one in
Cyprus and one in the US. Cinkciarz.pl's online currency exchange service was
launched in 2010, and in 2015 the Conotoxia brand was introduced to promote the
service in international markets.
The company
began its expansion into Europe in 2021 when it announced the establishment of
a local branch in Poland. Clients are secured by a license obtained from the
Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) regarding investment services.
Also, in
2021, the United Kingdom-headquartered LMAX Global decided to transfer the
accounts of its Polish clients to Conotoxia. Additionally, it detailed that the
migrated clients benefit from the execution of LMAX orders and receive pricing
conditions of Conotoxia.
"As
the head of the Polish branch of Conotoxia, I will take care of Poles
interested in investments in stocks, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies and
FX," Pukin wrote in a LinkedIn post, confirming his appointment
almost three months ago.
Conotoxia has
sponsored the Chicago Bulls, a US-based professional basketball team, since
2015. However, in 2022, Plus500 signed a four-year partnership deal with the
NBA member.

Brendan Callan joined us fresh off the Summit’s most anticipated debate: “Is Prop Trading Good for the Industry?” Brendan argued against the motion — and the audience voted him the winner.
In this interview, Brendan explains the reasoning behind his position. He walks through the message he believes many firms avoid: that the current prop trading model is too dependent on fees, too loose on risk, and too confusing for retail audiences.
We discuss why he thinks the model grew fast, why it may run into walls, and what he believes is needed for a cleaner, more responsible version of prop trading.
This is Brendan at his frankest — sharp, grounded, and very clear about what changes are overdue.
