ADS Securities, the UAE-based online broker has announced that its Hong-Kong unit, ‘ADS Securities Hong Kong Limited’ is launching its own dedicated TY3 server in Tokyo aimed at providing its Asian client base with better Liquidity and execution. ADS provides institutional and retail forex trading services from offices in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.

According to ADS, the TY3 server is built around ADS Securities’ proprietary OREX platform available to clients via FIX API. ADS intends to “tailor bank and non-bank liquidity to specific client requirements”. The OREX Optim platform currently offers currencies and precious metals, although ADS plans to expand its range of asset classes by announcing that the “OREX platform will include CFD’s, equities and commodities over the course of 2015".

ADS revamped the OREX Optim platform last month by introducing a host of functionality and aesthetic changes but the addition of a TY3 server allows the company to reduce latency times and improve execution times on OREX.

Desmond Yeo, ADS Securities MD in Asia, sees the opening of TY3 as an important step for ADS Hong Kong. In an official statement Mr. Yeo said: “Institutional traders across the region are extremely competitive and demand a very high quality of service. Building our OREX technology into TY3 provides them with a low latency solution with access to very high levels of liquidity, excellent execution and low rejection rates.” Adding, “OREX Optim architecture means that trading optimisation tools and Risk Management functionalities work across the platform allowing, margin to be calculated taking into account all underlying assets”.

After launching OREX Optima, ADS is now adding further layers of development to the platform in the hope of persuading banks, brokers and funds to utilise it.

"We offer a low latency sophisticated trading platform with smart routing technology, drawing from the latest developments in equity markets, to aggregate and assign liquidity. We can customise all elements from simple cascading execution algorithms through to offering a full deep white label of the platform and associated risk management technology. What we offer is flexible, scalable and state-of-the-art” said Mathieu Ghanem, ADS Securities Head of Sales for Asia.
