Union Bancaire Privee, a private Swiss bank, has appointed industry veteran Koon Chow as its newest senior macro and foreign exchange strategist, whose work will focus on emerging markets along with fixed income.
Mr. Chow joins Union Bancaire Privee from Barclays Plc, having served as its managing director where he worked in emerging markets and foreign exchange. Prior to that he worked at Credit Suisse AG and Idealglobal in senior level roles as well.

In his new role as the senior macro and foreign exchange strategist at Union Bancaire Privee, Mr. Chow will be based out of London and will manage sovereign and foreign exchange research, whilst providing trading ideas to the group. Collectively, he has nearly two decades of experience in emerging markets.
