Patrick Lau, Redline Trading Solutions

Redline Trading Solutions on-boarded Patrick Lau as its Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales. In his new role Mr. Lau will be based out of Redline’s London office. He will be working with Dave Carson, Redline’s data and capital markets veteran, helping expand the group’s high performance solutions across European markets.

Karen Johnston and Nick Lord, FCA

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the UK’s paramount regulatory authority, has announced its latest senior appointment, adding Karen Johnston and Nick Lord to its Regulatory Decisions Committee (RDC). Ms. Johnston and Mr. Lord join last year’s appointees Stuart McIntosh, Philip Marsden, Robin Mason, and Malcolm Nicholson.

Penelope Ruth Judd, Plus500

Plus500 appointed Penelope Ruth Judd as the group’s new Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, effective 1 June 2017. She succeeds current chairman Alastair Gordon who assumed his role at Plus500 following the company’s IPO in 2013. Ms. Judd has served as Non-Executive Director at Plus500 since joining in 2016. She also chairs the newly formed Risk and Compliance Committee, which was established last year.

Deborah Bussière, Broadridge

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) announced its latest senior hire, appointing Deborah Bussière as its newest Global Chief Marketing Officer. She will step into her new role on May 8, 2017 and will be based out of New York. Ms. Bussière will be tasked with steering Broadridge’s global marketing functions, which includes many responsibilities ranging from the Execution of the company’s brand strategy to its product marketing efforts, corporate communications, and digital marketing agenda.

CBOE’s foreign exchange electronic communications network Hotspot added a new team member in a newly created role at the company. The firm hired Jon Weinberg from UBS to appoint him as Head of FX Liquidity Analysis. Mr. Weinberg comes with extensive experience in the FX industry, having previously worked at BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley and KCG Holdings.
