Electronic trading and connectivity solutions provider ULLINK announced the hire of Ofir Gefen as its Managing Director for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region. He has years of experience in the region - he worked at ITG for 18 years, and has been involved in the region since 2008.
“With 9 years’ experience in the region I am confident I can contribute to the formidable APJ team and together deliver ULLINK’s ambitious growth plan for the region,” said Gefen.

Traydstream, a London-based fintech company, has appointed 22-year trading veteran Sameer Sehgal as its CEO. Sehgal worked at Citi prior to this, contributing to making Citi the largest trade bank in the EMEA region. Before working with Citi, he worked in senior roles at Bank of America.
Traydstream’s Chief Operating Officer, Uzair Bawany, said: “In Sameer we have one of the leading figures in global Trade Finance; his appointment is invaluable to us in charting a course for the exciting future for our business.”
He will be responsible for managing client relationships in interest rates, credit, foreign Exchange and securitized products. as well as overseeing FX and rates distribution to all institutional clients in Asia.
