Finance Magnates learned on Friday that Allan Aldridge has left NEX to join FCFM Group.

Based in London, Aldridge was most recently group head of tax and treasury for NEX, now a part of the CME Group.

He was in that role for almost three years, having taken up the position in December of 2016.

Prior that, Aldridge was with interdealer broker ICAP. The accountancy executive joined ICAP in 2009 as an international tax manager.

Over the next seven years, he was promoted several times, becoming head of international tax, head of tax for the UK and EMEA, and - finally - global head of tax.

From Deloitte to FCFM

The new FCFM Group executive got his career started at Deloitte. He joined the consultancy firm in 2004 and spent four years there getting an accountancy qualification.

Regulatory filings from Companies House indicate that Aldridge left NEX towards the end of September. He was appointed as a director at the FCFM Group at the beginning of October.

FCFM Group, a financial company that specializes in principal investing, is based in west London.

According to updates on LinkedIn, Aldridge will be working at the firm as chief financial officer. That will mean he is in charge of the investment company's financial, legal, human resources, and Compliance functions.
