Misys, a worldwide provider of financial services software, has on-boarded Natalie Gammon as its newest Chief Information Officer (CIO) with immediate effect, according to a company statement.

In her new role Ms. Gammon will be based out of London. She will help oversee the group’s global infrastructure and technology operations, which include a full array of business applications and support services, in tandem with the company’s data centers and overall information security.

Moreover, her mandate will see her fostering process efficiency whilst delivering technological improvements across the entire spectrum of Misys operations. Her hire also coincides with Misys' ambitions to initiate its Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) strategy, which she will focusing on extensively.

She joins Misys with over two decades of experience across the international technology space, having joined the company from FNZ where she worked as its Group Chief Information Officer and Head of Production for nearly five years. Prior stops also include positions at Deutsche Bank, Lloyds and Barclays, among others, part of a career dating back to 1995, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.

According to Tom Kilroy, Chief Operations Officer, Misys, in a statement on the hire: “Natalie brings a wealth of experience in leading large global teams, supporting mission-critical technology operations, driving process efficiencies and delivering successful transformation programmes.”
