The LME has made a number of key headlines lately, forging partnerships with technology providers as well as paving the way for its new CCP launch. In his new role as Head of Sales, Mr. MacGregor will be tasked with developing the LME’s product initiatives and its clientele – furthermore, he will also be managing his own team of sales professionals.

Prior to his appointment at the LME, Mr. MacGregor was the Head of European Agency Sales at ION Trading. Additionally, he held a number of senior level roles at FFastFill Limited and NYSE Euronext for nearly two decades.

According to Matthew Chamberlain, LME’s Head of Business Development, in a recent statement on the appointment, “Paul brings with him very valuable experience and will be instrumental in driving forwards the Exchange's market engagement and outreach strategy. The new LME sales team, under Paul’s leadership, will enhance the LME's customer reach, for the benefit of all LME stakeholders.”
