LME Taps Andrew Dodsworth as Market Operations Head

In his new role as the head of market operations at the LME, Mr. Dodsworth will be tasked with leading a team that oversees the group’s electronic trading, matching and market data, among other areas. He will be reporting directly to Stuart Sloan, Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Dodsworth joins the LME after nearly two decades of leading market operations for a number of financial exchanges, including most recently from the NYSE Liffe. In this capacity, he held the role of executive director of market services – prior to this he also worked at Liffe Market Supervision and Commerzbank in senior level roles.
According to LME Chief Executive, Garry Jones, in a recent statement on the appointment, “Andrew brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the LME and will be of great value as we refocus our operational and IT services for the benefit of our users.”
