LiquidityBook, a provider of FIX and OMS trading solutions for both the buy and sell-side, has added industry veteran Sumit Kumar to its business team in the firm’s London office.
Kumar is assuming the role of Senior FIX Specialist and is tasked with improving clients experience with LiquidityBook. His responsibilities cover a wide range of business areas, from onboarding to day-to-day connectivity, as well as collaborating with both internal developers and external clients.
Kumar lands at LiquidityBook after more than six years working with data vendor, Refinitiv in various roles. He joined Refinitiv through Redi acquisition, and during his tenure, he managed global FIX Onboarding teams of REDI, Autex, FXall and RTN.
Prior to that, he served with Goldman Sachs from 2010 to 2014, having originally joined the investment bank as an analyst in the equities technology division. Then, he rose to VP, heading the offshore Global FIX Client Onboarding team in Bangalore.
