Julius Baer Group Ltd., Switzerland’s third-largest wealth manager, appointed Laura Hilber as part of its FX PB Solutions team in a bid to strengthen its presence in the Private Banking sector, according to Hilber’s Linkedin page.
Laura lands at Julius Baer after a lengthy stint at the UBS Investment Bank. She initially joined the UBS Group AG’s investment banking unit back in May 2012 and was originally appointed at FX Sales Trading department. Mrs. Hilber’s career encompasses other roles including Associate Director of FRC Sales Trading.

Julius Baer, which manages $310 billion for its clients, has acquired businesses and hired private bankers in the recent months to help it chase other Swiss wealth managers such as UBS Group AG and Credit Suisse Group AG.
Earlier in her career, Laura joined Credit Suisse where she served in many training roles. most latterly as Business Management.
Laura received her financial degree from London School of Economics and Political Science and she also holds a master in banking and finance from University of St. Gallen.
