The hire represents the addition of an experienced communications expert in Germany for Deutsche Börse. Ms. Haas comes over to the marketplace operator after a lengthy background in domestic communications and management roles. This includes the installment of her own communications consultancy.

Prior to this position she worked as the Head of Corporate Affairs with Vodafone Germany for over three years dating back to 2014. In addition, she has held multiple senior level roles at Gruner+Jahr Wirtschaftsmedien and RTL Television, part of a career extending to 1993, according to information made public on her Linkedin profile.

In her new role at Deutsche Börse, she will be reporting to the group’s CEO Theodor Weimer. Her focus will be on managing the two departments.

“We are gaining an experienced professional and recognised expert in all areas of communications in Ingrid Haas. I have no doubt that she will be a great asset to Deutsche Börse, and look forward to working with her,” explained Mr. Weimer in a statement on the appointment.

Ms. Haas commented: “I find Deutsche Börse Group a very exciting company. I look forward to working together with my team to shape Deutsche Börse communications.”
